Meet Jeff & Kathryn Dungan
A boy and girl get hired to teach at a school on the beach in Cartagena, Colombia. Boy meets girl. The boy and girl become fast friends. Then, boy and girl become...more than friends. Girl and boy, get married, have children, and raise them overseas, showing them the world, or at least part of it.
After spending 20+ years teaching in international schools in the Caribbean and East Asia, we decided to take on some new challenges. COVID-19 came along and helped with that dercision after being diplaced from our last 12-year post in Shanghai China. We repatriated to Traverse City, Michigan and started re-tooling our knowledge base to become real estate investors. With previous experience renting our two properties in Traverse City, we have now expanded to investing in single-famili and multi-family homes.
Our deals are built on our conerstone of transpacency and trust. REI is a people business and our hope it to provide high quality housing to people who live in underserved communities.
